The Carpenter is responsible for the full range of rough and finished skilled carpentry work. They will also be asked to do finish carpentry(Installation of door frames, doors, hardwood, base trim and cabinetry). Need to be able to do metal stud framing, or wood framing depending on the scope of work. This individual should expect to work both outside exposed to the weather as well as indoors around finished product. This will at times be a dirty job with the expectation and understanding that the job has to be done. CME does commercial buildings, institutional, medical, food processing, industrial, warehousing, and retail spaces.
Hours: Monday-Friday: 8 hour shifts, overtime if needed 7am start, Paid lunch.
Must Haves:
- 3 - 5 years residential or commercial construction experience
- 1 - 5 years framing experience
- Valid drivers license
- Some exposure to concrete
-Must have minimum Hammer, Tape Measure, and Tool Belt.
WOULD BE NICE:
+Osha 10 hour Training
+Experience as a foreman running a crew of workers
+Reading prints and layout work
+Pry Bar, Steel setting wrench, podger or spud wrench[looks like a cresent wrench with a spike on it]
