Maintenance position (full time) available immediately for a 291 lot, Class "B" manufactured housing community located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Must have prior maintenance work experience in either a mobile home park or apartment complex setting. Must have experience coordinating maintenance projects and be knowledgeable regarding all aspects of grounds maintenance including water line and sewer line breaks, electrical and plumbing issues, equipment maintenance, landscaping and snow removal & salting. Must have reliable transportation. Will report directly to the Community Manager. This position is key to the success of the community and requires a strong maintenance skills, reliable work ethic and organizational skills. Must know how to operate landscape maintenance equipment such as a commercial zero turn mower and other related equipment such as a snow plow and tail gate salter. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: plumbing, electrical, utility line breaks, carpentry and landscape maintenance. Also, working with vendors to obtain competitive bids is required. Must have a good personality and possess excellent customer service skills so as to maintain positive resident relations in the community.
