Our client is seeking a Product Distribution Coordinator to act as a liaison and representative for the company. This individual will report to the owners and needs to be flexible, congenial, and relational. This person will work under the owners as an apprentice at first, be on a small business team, and work alongside sales and marketing.
Responsibilities include:
Excellent customer service
Follow through, and purchase satisfaction
Weekly order pickups from suppliers
Contacting customers and coordinate delivery, setup, or pickup
Oversight of warehouse
Product knowledge to enhance product distribution and sales
Key business functions:
Pick up from suppliers, load truck/trailer meticulously, while networking with suppliers.
Schedule and deliver product, build relationships with customers to fill their future furnishing needs.
Warehouse maintenance, organization of product, and orderly storage. Maintain vehicle/trailer appearance. Expedite receiving and shipping.
Key support functions:
Support owners by taking on the product pickups, customer calls and deliveries freeing them up to focus on marketing, sales and business.
Support marketing by representing the business professionally and promoting the image and integrity of the company.
Support sales by helping with paperwork, being a part of the customer service team, learning the products, and covering the sales floor.
Some Saturdays required.
Distribution and Customer Service Training will be provided.
