A Payroll/Accounting Specialist position has become available through Robert Half at a flourishing company seeking a highly-organized individual. Candidate must be able to successfully complete data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution, and providing statements to various departments. This vacancy is based in the Frankfort, Indiana area and is a permanent opportunity. In order to be successful in this role, the candidate must possess strong communication skills in order to work with the internal team and external customers.Key responsibilitiesPerform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.
Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals
Process weekly invoicing to a portfolio of customers
Instruct and train employees in the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.
Be able to create and run custom reports
Retrieve reports as instructed by administering and/or distributing
Arrange data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
Requirements - Previous payroll experience
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Strong organization skills
Knowledgeable in Payroll software
Eagerness to master new systems
Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
Knowledge of customer invoices
Full Cycle Payroll experience
Great attention to detail
