DescriptionThe Accounting Manager performs professional-level fiscal analyses, research, accounting, forecasting, and budget-related work involved with related financial and budgetary systems. The Accounting Manager is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures.Primary Responsibilities include: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements and reports Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met Prepare financial management reports Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities Develop and maintain financial databases Financial audit preparation Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems Specialized knowledge of and experience with related computer applicationsPlease send your current resume to Harriet Reed (harriet.reed@rhmr.com)Requirements Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, taxation or financial advisory services Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Working knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles; Working knowledge of auditing practices and principles; Above average Knowledge of and experience with related computer applications; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is preferredOur industry-leading alliances and broad client network provide you greater access to a variety of unique interim and long-term project opportunities that can keep you continuously engaged.
