DescriptionAccountemps is partnering with a construction firm looking to hire for a long term temporary Bookkeeper. Are you a take charge individual? Then this dynamic Bookkeeping opportunity might be the right fit for you! In this Bookkeeper role, you will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and Payroll/Payroll Tax, as well as various bookkeeping duties including preparing financial statements. This Bookkeeper will also be responsible for various administrative duties. AA in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Prior experience using accounting software
General familiarity with accounts receivable aging
Practical knowledge of account reconciliation
Well-founded grasp of accounts receivable
Comprehensive knowledge of taxes
Sales and use tax experience required
Proficiency in tax returns
Proven knowledge of accounts payable and receivables
US taxes experience
Quality experience with bank reconciliations
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
