Onebridge is a Consulting firm with an HQ in Indianapolis, and clients dispersed throughout the United States and beyond. We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Governance Analyst to join one of our clients on a long-term contract basis.

This position is an onsite role based in Indianapolis, IN.

Data Governance Analyst | About You

As a Data Governance Analyst, you are responsible for maintaining best practices regarding information security, integrity, and access. You will analyze and decide the appropriate protocols for keeping data, develop tools and methods for the client to oversee its data and provide recommendations about how to best govern the use of and access to the information. You are comfortable in highly regulatory and complex enterprise environments (public and private sector), defining policies and processes to ensure data quality. You are a highly analytical problem solver with a solid commitment to the ethical use of data.

Data Governance Analyst | Day-to-Day


  • Routinely develop and implement data standards.
  • Guarantee metadata is captured efficiently and correctly.
  • Create methods for monitoring and reporting any data incidents.
  • Provide support in monitoring personnel to ensure they are following data governance procedures.
  • Establish frameworks for sound data domain management practices.
  • Highlight data quality concerns from multiple user perspectives and in varying contexts to ensure the right data is targeted for quality improvement and report on the integrity of the organization's data assets.

Data Governance Analyst | Skills & Experience


  • 10+ years of Professional IT Experience with 3+ years focused on Data Governance Initiative.
  • Rich experience managing Data Catalogs and publishing them for consumers with tools like Collibra, Immuta, etc.
  • Progressive experience leading and managing cross-matrixed or cross-functional teams, programs, and projects.
  • Experience architecting designs and solutions including the migration planning of existing data/systems and implementing data governance roadmaps and programs at an enterprise level.
  • Proficient in Business Analysis and SQL skills including Stored Procedures and Performance Tuning.
  • Knowledge of Cloud (Azure or AWS) Data Management concepts, tools, resources, challenges, and solutions.
  • Impressive written and verbal communication skills that can communicate complex ideas/processes to easily consumable concepts.
