Manager will determine level based upon the selected applicant’s skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position.The Financial Consultant / Senior provides financial analysis and prepares analysis of results for lines of business.Performs consulting services to support business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Works with management to provide decision support analysis.
Prepares financial summaries and consolidation reporting for monthly close, forecast, and plan results including operating gain/loss and membership.
Writes variance explanations for business region month-end and forecast reporting packages.
Conducts and documents complex financial and business related analyses and research fields including financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investment.
Focuses on business improvement initiatives and leads and directs projects.
Liaison to segment reporting teams.
Ad hoc analysis as needed to support Enterprise Staff VP & Director.
Provides guidance to less experienced financial consultants.
Qualifications:
Requires a BS/BA in accounting or finance; at least 3 years budgeting, forecasting and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, and/or CFA preferred.
Strong proficiency with MS Office Products.
Experience with SQL and MS Access (creating and managing reporting templates) highly desired
Experience with financial software such as SAP desired.
