To do this the role provides best in class administration of the organization’s human resource programs and system and superior customer service to our Team Members.Responsibilities
Human Resource
Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
Ensure all required legal paperwork is completed and accurate (i.e. I-9)
Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion
Processes personnel action forms and ensures proper approvals; disseminates approved forms
Maintain and administer new hire onboarding system
Review & Distribute HR Inbox/Review & Distribute HR Incoming Calls - Responsible for reviewing and distributing mail from the HR inbox. Review and distribute incoming calls
Assist in troubleshooting system related problems
Other duties as assigned
Benefits
Act as subject matter expert (SME) for company benefit programs
Assist in the administration of company benefit programs
Assist with new hire benefit orientation
Coordinate health, life and disability insurance enrollment and communicate with service providers concerning routine administration of programs
Assist Team Members with benefit questions and in resolving issues
Assist in ensuring benefit programs are compliant with all regulatory requirements (i.e. COBRA, ACA, etc.)
Assist in troubleshooting system related problems
Process disability, FMLA and ADA paperwork in accordance with internal policies and federal guidelines
Responsible for collection and tracking of all benefit premiums for team members who are out on leaves
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred
2+ years in a previous Human Resources role
Demonstrated commitment to provide outstanding customer service
Experience with cloud/web-based HRIS software, UltiPro/Ultimate ideal
Past experience with strategic execution of systems optimization and process improvement
Benefits support experience strongly preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically in Word, Excel (intermediate or advanced), and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
