DescriptionIn this role you will meet or exceed internal sales revenue goals by selling Home Care capital medical products and enhance the customer experience by contacting potential customers, educating them on product capabilities and selling Hill-Rom products into the market. You will also ensure efficient processing of orders and collection of payment information. You will work with the service organization to ensure prompt delivery,setup and in-servicing of capital products.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Other duties may be assigned:
Responsible for revenue in assigned territory of approximately $2,000,000
Independently formulate and execute selling strategies to sell products of intermediate complexity directly to customers by phone. Responsible for the entire sales process of product, from researching potential customers through sale and placement of product.
Educate customers on our product portfolio, product features and clinical outcomes through effective preparation, presentation and follow up
Establish an understanding of the portfolio’s competitive differentiation and communicate this information to customers to assist them in product selection
Schedule and complete daily customer sales calls and follow up on opportunities to develop the business
Ensure that customers understand payment criteria, warranties, delivery estimates, etc.
Handle all customer questions/complaints/issues relative to sold capital products
Work independently to drive sales growth and identify additional product opportunities
Seek opportunities to develop and improve sales competencies
Provide feedback to home care marketing on the home care website content relative to capital sales and customer questions
Collect and process payments prior to product shipment
Document requirements and coverage determination by Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
Identify, and assist cases for marketing to conduct case studies, and customer testimonials
Interact with Case Managers and Medical Directors on challenging cases.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Durable medical equipment industry experience preferred
1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or case management
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel and Word
JDE and Salesforce.com experience a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven customer service and sales skills.
