Make an extraordinary impact.The Senior Manager Technology - Data Services is responsible for maintaining Information Technology (IT) strategies by researching and implementing technological strategic solutions to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT department.The Data Services Manage r is a hands-on Sr SQL Developer will manage the day to day operations of a team of SQL developers and Database Administrators working in a cloud infrastructure. The role will direct the team who will is responsible to identify business requirements, develop data models, perform data analysis, write advanced SQL queries, design and code complex stored procedures, and performance tune existing database processes. At least 5 years experience in developing and administering Microsoft SQL Server and understanding of Azure SQL a plus.How you will make an impact:Oversees information systems function for a site, system, or special initiative.

Manages multiple cost centers and/or plan of record projects; delivers and supports software system solutions that support the operations of their functional areas.

Manages at least a single application (or the equivalent capital and/or level of responsibility and complexity).

Evaluates all directives, change orders, and projects as to their impact on tactical plans, budgets, and contract compliance.

Oversees and implements new subsystems, procedures and techniques; manages implementation/integration projects to ensure deliverables.

Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Min. requirementsRequires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience leading project teams, application software development, maintenance or implementation and support, including 3 years of management or leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent backgroundFor Colorado residents only:Annual Salary Range: $114,000-143,945.Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.The hourly or salary range is the range Elevance Health in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
