Job CategoryFinance and OperationsJob DetailsThe Order Management Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and booking all opportunities accepted within Salesforce.com compliance policies. The specialist must be able to work in a team environment, be self-motivated, extremely detail-oriented with demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.Major Responsibilities:
Partner with sales teams to address customer satisfaction inquires related to contracts
Process customer contracts accurately and timely to ensure compliance to company policies have been met
Respond to process & policy questions and effectively communicate requirements
Apply knowledge, skills and judgment to make decisions and resolve issues relating to contracts
Participate in new process development and process improvement projects as well as other ad hoc projects
Work independently on assignments and escalations that are diverse in scope, requiring seasoned judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
Challenge legacy policies and procedures that complicate quote, order and revenue processing, and formulate creative solutions or work-around based on that analysis
Establish strong relationships with Sales Operations, Accounting, Legal, Sales, Provisioning, Services, and other internal resources as appropriate.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must have strong research and problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to articulate verbally and written, ability to think quickly
Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment, delivering accuracy while managing deadlines - adaptability is imperative
Ability to understand broader business and juggle multiple projects and tasks
Extreme attention to detail
Must be able to maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations
Able to use Microsoft suite effectively
Prior order management and Salesforce.com application experience a plus
Ability to work independently
Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
