Our Government client in Indianapolis, IN is looking for an Outreach Coordinator to assist their Drug Overdose Prevention department. This role is eligible for Kelly Services Contractor benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision coverage.Role is full time, Monday-Friday, 1st shift (typically 8am-5pm). Phone and in-person interviews will be conducted. This is an 8-month placement.Pay rate: $23.00/hrTypical Job duties include (but are not limited to):t

Responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of outreach activities in assigned counties in Indiana that falls within the Overdose Data to Action grant guidelines.t

Primary responsibility includes collaborating, connecting and consulting with community stakeholders on topics or concerns of Drug Overdose Prevention (DOP) and integrated community responses.t

Focus will be on facilitating regional and statewide community planning groups.t

Providing technical assistance to both internal and external partners on DOP activities.t

Incumbent represents the ISDH and works closely with the other DOP Outreach Coordinators to ensure communications are cohesive and timely.

Must-have job requirements:t

High School Diploma (or GED) is required, Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field is highly desirablet

At least one year of experience in working in a Government agency, department, or related environment (hospital setting) is desirablet

At least two years of experience working with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and Word.t

Good time management skills/ability to take the initiative when working on projects t

Ability to be tactful and work with the publict

Effective communications skills, in writing and verbally.t

Experience in the use of computer systems
