DescriptionRobert Half Legal is seeking a Real Estate Legal Assistant to join a renowned law firm! The ideal candidate must have must have an advanced level of document technical expertise and software competencies in PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. This Assistant will work as a member of a team to provide high level document and administrative assistance to a group of Associates and Paralegals. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:Prepare correspondence, memos, and legal documents according to Firm standards using the current word processing and document management systems.Manage the preparation and coordination of complex document production while utilizing technology platforms and other firm resources to streamline processes and reduce turnaround time (example for the Business Practice Group using Doxly and DocuSign software).Maintain pertinent case data to ensure all deadlines and filings are met.Manage assignments from attorneys and paralegals by providing estimated timelines to complete including progress updates.Research information as instructed by Associates and Paralegals.Ensure all data is accurately entered and updated in firm systems such as Workflow and InterAction.Communicate with other members of the team regarding workload, deadlines, and upcoming assignments to ensure the team is functioning efficiently at all times.Handle administrative tasks such as reimbursements and workflow vouchers as well as coordinate travel, meetings, and conference calls including IT and facilities set-ups.File and case support for Associates and Paralegals (example for the Business Practice Group: closing binders, stock certificates, and minute books).Electronic Filing (example for the Business Practice Group INBiz portal; litigation case filings, etc.)Respond to special project requests from the Hub timekeepers and Group Leader.Provide outstanding assistance to new Associates and Paralegals and familiarize them with the Hub process.Collaborate with Hub team members regarding distribution of tasks to ensure equitable workloads.Maintain strict confidentiality for all information and case data received via attorneys and paralegals.Have a positive, achievement oriented team-centered attitude.Please send a copy of your resume to Madeline.Morrison@roberthalflegal.com for immediate consideration!RequirementsRequirements of this position include but are not limited to:Higher education or coursework related to the legal field preferred.Document production experience preferred.Advanced technology knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Excellent clerical skills and knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.Exceptional customer service skills in person, over the phone and via email.Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.Please send a copy of your resume to Madeline.Morrison@roberthalflegal.com for immediate consideration!Located in major North American and global markets, Robert Half Legal is the premier provider of legal staffing and consulting solutions on a full-time, project, and temporary basis, serving both law firms and corporate legal departments.
