Product Support Engineer - Consultant - US Based About the role: innoWake (a Deloitte product), a leader in software modernization, is currently seeking Java developers to join our Product Support team. In this position, you will support both internal and external customers. This is a test and support-driven environment where your responsibilities will include product maintenance, JIRA administration, debugging and product support. You will face new challenges every day. Sometimes you will know the answer to the problem, sometimes you will ask a colleague, and other times you may finding yourself relying on Google and Stack Overflow to get to the bottom of things. The team : At Deloitte Consulting LLP, Deloitte Application Modernization & Innovation consultants leverage the best of innovative technology, people, and delivery approaches to help our clients dream, explore, build, and optimize their future. The AMI practice delivers end-to-end technology solutions to enable and improve our clients' core business operations. AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration and Quality Engineering Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients

Manage ticket queue for active projects

Administer the JIRA platform for internal and external clients

Work closely with developers to identify fixes for projects

Complete other tasks as they are assigned

Requirements:

2+ years of Java development; knowledge of additional OOP languages is a bonus

Familiarity with modern technical environments such as Oracle, MSSQL, Apache Tomcat/WebSphere, Linux, agile methodology

Demonstrated experience in JIRA administration and experience working with Atlassian product suite

4 year degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Excellent customer service skills

Exposure to legacy database systems is helpful

Strong analytical skills

Experience in quality assurance techniques for software projects a plus

Solution and team-oriented

Self-starter

Ability to provide customer service for government projects

Additional Requirements:
