POSITION SUMMARYRecruit Rooster is currently looking for a Web Developer who has extensive hands-on industry experience, front-to-back understanding of multi-tier web applications, and is passionate about software development and providing a great customer experience.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
Create and maintain a suite of applications targeted at human resources and talent attraction
Thoroughly understands the latest front end technologies
JavaScript and related frameworks (React or the like)
Demonstrated ability to work with Stakeholders to build quality software
Experience working with search applications and consuming APIs
Manage workflow and agile development tasks
Troubleshoot and resolve development issues
Desire to learn, develop new skills, and meet deadlines
OTHER SIGNIFICANT JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
Work closely with both developers and testers to build software that meets customer expectations and supports business goals
Bring a fresh perspective to the table and make meaningful suggestions for increasing the quality of our code, technical infrastructure and architecture
Additional duties and projects as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
Experience with Python, Django Frameworks
Experience working with common relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres) a plus
Has worked in an Agile environment
REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.)
Excellent technical skills
Willingness and desire to work with QA, Product Management and other departments to build great products
Ability to deliver high-quality code in a timely fashion
Creativity and a passion for web development
Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and presenting effective options to Product Management
