The Bank Restaurant, Pendleton, IN is looking for an exceptional and experienced line cook to join our team. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years previous line cook experience (not including fast food experience) in a high volume casual dining restaurant. We are looking for a skilled cook who is dependable, visionary, can follow recipes, and has a commitment to consistency and producing a quality product. We are a long-standing family owned American restaurant serving lunch and dinner since 2002. We are passionate about great service, excellent food and wine, and providing a great dining experience for our customers. We are looking for talented team members who share our passion to operate a professional, guest-oriented business.

Our staff gets two days off per week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Confers with Sous Chef/Manager about prep list to determine requirements of the day.
Follows company recipes and procedures when preparing or cooking food.
Works in a clean, efficient and organized manner.
Maintains a high standard of hygiene and appearance.
Helps to control costs and waste.
Observes good sanitation and safety procedures.
Maintains sense of ownership in respect to kitchen equipment.
Works effectively and professionally with other team members of the restaurant.
Assists in opening/closing duties and clean-up work as required.
Adheres to policies as set forth in associate handbook.
Other duties as assigned.
