Landscapes Unlimited is a full service landscape company servicing residential clients throughout Carmel, Zionsville and Indianapolis is hiring within all departments. We are currently hiring Mowing Foremen to help run crews in our Mowing Department. Description: The Mowing Foreman is a full-time position w/ benefits for someone who can manage a Residential 2-man mowing crew. This person will need to demonstrate safe handling and operation of commercial mowing equipment including walk-behind and zero-turn mowers. This person will need to demonstrate the ability to skillfully strip, edge, and trim all types of residential lawns as well as preform detailed cleanup of clippings from hard surfaces and mulch beds. General equipment maintenance, such as changing and sharpening blades, mixing fuel, and greasing equipment, will be required. This person will have the ability to supervise his crew associates, keep accurate mowing logs and documentation, communicate with customers, and problem solve issues within the lawns. This person will also assist with various peak season operations including Spring Clean-Ups, Bed Edging, Mulching, Fall Clean-ups and Snow Removal.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License
Reliable transportation
2 yrs. Residential mowing experience
2 yrs. exp. using commercial mowing equipment (Exmark)
2 yrs. exp. Using commercial trimmers and blowers (Echo, Stihl)
General knowledge of commercial equipment maintenance
Ability to safely operate truck and 17-20' trailer
Professional appearance
Strong communication and organizational skills
