Arborworks is seeking a highly skilled individual who can work independently to coordinate permitting of hazard trees along utility lines in Indiana. Company vehicle will be provided for work operations.
Duties Include:
⢠Identify trees from utility provided logs and obtain required permissions
⢠Identify property owners
⢠Research easement and land rights for rights and restrictions
⢠Meet/Discuss with land owners (residential, municipal, and state) to explain work and obtain permission
⢠Respond to public concerns and questions about the work, work specifications, and requirements
⢠Organize permits and submit to office appropriately
⢠Mark trees in the field when required
⢠Inspect work areas to assess overall vegetation condition and identify additional hazards present
Qualifications:
⢠Minimum 1 year of applicable work experience
⢠Technology and GIS knowledge
⢠Working knowledge of Vegetation Management equipment and techniques
⢠Excellent personal and communication skills
⢠Valid driver's license
⢠2-4 year degree in Forestry, Horticulture, or related field preferred
