OB SUMMARY: To provide exceptional customer service that upholds OUR customer service vision as a friendly, energetic sales representative.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Excellent customer service
When more than one customer in the store, acknowledge that they will be served momentarily
Work quickly without pressuring customer to rush, being respectful of customer's time
If customer is shopping, follow up to see if any additional assistance is needed
Follow all cash handling procedures as per front register procedure manual
Other duties as requested or required
Able to work flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business and customers with evening and weekend shifts
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EDUCATION, and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated time management and organization skills
Excellent interpersonal, oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to provide extraordinary customer service
Retail experience preferred
Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom
Repetitive bending, prolong standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
Ability to work with/around chemicals
Good understanding of industry products and standards and/or willingness to learn
