Graphic Design Internship
Paid Internship – Fall 2020
Location: Office Headquarters – Downtown Indianapolis
Job Description: (10 hours per week to start) Our organization is seeking a Graphic Designer to work closely with our communications team to continuously manage and create effective tools for interaction between the organization, its members, and the board of directors in our community. The candidate will work regularly with the communication department to design, refine, and implement digital communication materials and some print materials for our events and educational programs with the end goal of increasing member awareness and engagement. This person should be motivated, reliable, thorough, and excited about developing content for a non-profit organization with a diverse membership that spans the U.S. Finally, the candidate should demonstrate a knowledge of best practices and industry-standard software. S/he should be able to operate within an active team with some autonomy while utilizing clear and effective communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Qualifications:
Design related coursework required
Proficiency working with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
Graphic Design majors preferred
Ability to productively work from home
Strong writing skills
Experience with Wordpress is a plus
Experience with video editing a plus
