DTS has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking an Electronics Systems Product Specialist for our client located in Seymour, IN. This applied technology position designs, integrates, and/or validates electronic hardware that is integral to our client's products. Within this role, you will validate/integrate electronic sensors, actuators, and control units, and provide systems and design input to harnesses to ensure the consistent operation of products in a variety of customer applications. You will apply knowledge of engineering principles to electronics and wiring harness design practices to create optimized design concepts and mechanical design specifications considering application, cost, weight, performance, reliability, durability, manufacturing, assembly, and serviceability.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics related
Required Experience:

  • 2 or more years of experience with basic problem-solving techniques (5 phase, 7 steps, 8D or similar)
  • Familiarity with the embedded electronic hardware development process, worst case analysis, DFMEA/PFMEA, and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
  • Demonstrated experience managing, communicating effectively, driving results, and making good and timely decisions
  • Knowledge of Creo, Creo Cabling, Windchill, and Microsoft Office tools

Overtime may need to be worked during critical design deliverables and testing – it is not expected to be a normal occurrence.
Must be available to work on W2 for Volt. No C2C or 3rd party vendors please.
