Job title: Production Operator
Location: Jeffersonville, IN (100 River Ridge Pkwy, Jeffersonville, Indiana, 47130)
Job Description:
Load raw material (fabric) into press machine (part weigh less than 15lbs)
Unload finished product
Remove excess material and recycle
Perform quick visual quality check
Assemble small components into fabric
Work to ensure daily production standards are met
Stand in one place for entire shift (8, 10 or 12 hours)
Work Environment:
Fully automated (not much heavy lifting - 10 - 15lbs)
Fast pace environment
Very repetitive (constant lifting, pulling and bending)
Clean work environment
The work environment is warm/humid and can be hot in summer
Implemented policies to ensure it\'s a safe working environment
The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles
The noise level in the environment is moderate to high.
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear
Personal Protection Equipment Details:
Employee is to provide their own steel toe or composite toe shoes/boots.
Client will provide ear plugs, safety glasses, and vest
Ear buds/listening devices are not allowed
No hoodies allowed
Full Time Openings:
1st shift: 7a-3p Mon-Fri - $17.25
2nd shift: 3p-11p Mon-Fri - $18.10
3rd shift: 11p-7a Sun-Thurs - $19
Contract to Hire: 90 days
Employees will be an Aerotek employee for roughly 90 days before becoming eligible for direct hire.
