Job Description: Develop software end to end using Extreme Programming (XP) practices, including coding, testing, and deploying software. Lead software engineer teams in technical practices and through business domain Collaborate with business partners to define requirements Collaborate with other teams with implementing micro service architecture Implement Security and Operations best practices Teach and coach other team members Participate in production support rotation for off hours support
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree 4+ years of work experience in Object Oriented development in at least one of the following web or mobile technologies: Android OR Swift/Objective-C OR JavaScript Spring and/or Rails frameworks OR Java / Ruby / Python / Golang / C# / React
Referred Qualifications: Exceptional software engineering knowledge; OO Design Principles Practiced in eXtreme Programming (XP) disciplines including: Paired programming Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD) Experience with Spring Cloud and deploying to cloud platforms, preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Cloud Foundry Highly effective in working with other technical experts, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and business stakeholders Delivered products that include web front-end development; JavaScript, client-side MVC frameworks like Angular, React, etc. Capable in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools and pipelines such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, etc. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
