Currently, Meijer is looking for a Inventory Coordinator. Inventory Coordinator (IC) is responsible for investigating the root cause of excess inventory, working backstock, ensuring backroom organization and completing inventory prep.Key responsibilities include:
Conducts inventory analysis to investigate overs (excess product) and unders (holes/lows) and ensures accurate balance on hand
Owns all aspects of backstock, including vendor areas
Works all backstock from live load the night before
Completes ICAPS and submits remedies
Ensures organization of backroom
Detail oriented and organized
Possesses good listening and communication skills
Has adequate knowledge of computer systems and is comfortable using them
Is process driven and has ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way
Ability to stay calm while working in a fast paced environment
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis
