Are you a dynamic Financial Business Analyst looking for an opportunity to grow your career with a prominent global manufacturing company? Our client, located in Elkhart, IN is rapidly expanding and is now hiring for a strong Financial Business Analyst to join their team.
What you will be doing?Â
Interfacing with Product Management, Logistics, and Sales Leadership to support business case analysis, cost optimization strategies, and identifying/exploiting opportunities in our core market segments
Support cross functional teams as the finance lead responsible for managing aged and obsolete inventoryÂ
Manage monthly analysis and communication of financial results and variances from prior month, prior year, forecast, and budget to local business management and staff with an emphasis on logistics.
Prepare customer profitability reports with extensive detail (e.g. top/bottom performers, actual vs. forecast, year over year variance, 80/20, territory indicators, product placement, etc.)Â
Assist in planning, developing, submitting and executing business plans, operating goals, financial objectives, investments and capital plans; driving results through rigorous analysisÂ
Ensure the accuracy of the financial models; analyze and interpret financial results; and assist with providing data-driven business insights to deliver short and long term strategic direction for business unitsÂ
Support the sales team through development and maintenance of short and long term financial and operating metrics encompassing various strategic and pricing opportunitiesÂ
What you will need?
Bachelors Degree required
3+ years of experience in financial planning, business cases analysis, and forecastingÂ
Highly proficient with computer technology and software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)Â
Experience AS400 based accounting systems or Microsoft Dynamics AX; ERP systems and Qlikview or similar database reporting programs are a plus.
Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, manipulating large data sets with Excel including the use of Pivot Tables, Macros, index match, and other advanced functions Â
Experience with extensive data manipulation to create analysis, reports, and database interfaces Â
Strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and ability to work within the complexities of a multi-national/global business while managing multiple concurrent assignments with minimal supervisionÂ
