We are a leading global aviation supplier designing, manufacturing, and distributing advanced systems, products, and services to commercial, defense and space industries.Working with our South Bend integrated engineering team, you will imagine, design and develop fuel control systems, complex metering solutions, and actuator products for aircraft engines.You’ll collaborate across Honeywell Aero engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Additional responsibilities will include establishing and applying methodologies to new concepts and recommending enhancements to advance projects and processes. You will participate in all phases of product development and will be a coach and mentor to less experienced engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze DesignsDesign EngineeringDesign InterpretationTest ProductsFailure AnalysisDocumentation PreparationRequirements & Architecture DefinitionYOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s Degree in Engineering2+ years of experience in product design or analysisDue to ITAR restrictions, must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holderWE VALUE5+ years Engineering experience in either Aerospace or Automotive industriesAbility to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.Demonstrated mastery experience with design tools appropriate for the field (Mathcad / Matlab, etc.)Demonstrated leadership experience in coordinating and overseeing successful projectsAdditional Information
