We are in immediate need of motivated part-time and full-time Food Service Staff who are interested in work short-term and long-term jobs located in and around Valparaiso, IN. The Food Service Staff will perform a wide range of activities that require you to stand for extended period of times and have a customer service demeanor when dealing with customers.
Our Food Service Staff's work week is usually 1-day gigs, or 5-day schedules on 1st or 2nd shift. Some jobs include weekend options. The opportunities we have pays in a range of $12-15 an hour, based on your experience and the role you are working in. We have long-term temporary and temporary to hire positions available.
These positions are Union-Affiliated, with the Painters and Allied Trades Union. After passing the probationary temp-to-hire time period, you would have the opportunity to join the Union.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepping, cooking, and serving food
Dishwashing
Set up and clean up of all kitchen areas
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Follow all health and safety guidelines
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Ability to read and write
Ability to pass background check and drug test
Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned
Able to work weekends and holidays
Must have reliable transportation
