Divisions of Patrick Industries located in Elkhart, IN, are currently seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our highly qualified maintenance technician team. The ideal candidate for this role will have 3+ years of experience working independently and managing projects to completion.
The role will encompass a hands-on approach, working side by side other Maintenance Technicians to complete routine repairs, corrective repairs, and emergent maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Members of the Maintenance Team are responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, troubleshooting, repairing and performing maintenance on a variety of automated woodworking and laminating machinery, which include PLCs, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Electrical Systems. Further maintenance responsibilities include fabrication, machining, and machine moving.
Further responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintains a preventative maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery
Provide training that will cover equipment, electrical and mechanical, fabrication
Bridging communication between shifts
Enforces sound safety and housekeeping practices
Requirements
3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience
Strong troubleshooting capabilities
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience working within OSHA safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE
