Summary
Clean, Inspect, change over configurations, maintain & minor repair of injection molds, dies, jigs, fixtures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Clean and inspect injection molds using proper procedures for each customers needs.
Implements changeover to injection molds per repair order request. Note: must be trained and approved by repair department lead on each Job number or work directly with Mold Repair lead or Technician.
Works with supervisor and other departments leads for priority of workload.
Complete documentation needed for each tool electronic and hard copy where applicable.
Perform minor repairs and communicates issues with supervisor and department leads.
Reports any issues found on inspection of tool to supervisor immediately.
Studies specifications, engineering blueprints, tool orders, and shop data and confers with shop personnel to resolve problems related to material characteristics, dimensional tolerances, service requirements, manufacturing procedures, and cost.

Education And/Or Experience:
Experience with injection mold disassembly and assembly. In house training working directly with Injection mold repair technician. High school diploma or equivalent.
