We are seeking a Piano Shop Assistant and Customer Service Assistant (Lafayette, IN)to join our Family Business Team! You will workshop routines, crafting, assist in deliveries, help with building maintenance, possibly performclerical, receptionistand administrative functionsin order to drive company success. We are a stable growing small company with need for an assistant to help with pianos and customers.
Responsibilities:
Assist with deliveries
Plan and schedule appointments and events
Learn Piano action repair procedures
Greet and assist onsite guests
Answer inbound telephone calls
Perform general cleaning, maintenance and some grounds keeping in piano store and warehouses.
Qualifications:
Some musical background is always helpful, but not required
Ability to prioritize and follow directions
Reasonable communication skills
Valid Drivers License
Strong attention to detail
​Strongorganizationalskills
Presentable to customers
Fixed schedule would include some evenings until 9, starting with part-time, full time possible.
Full time and and benefits possible.Compensation dependent on performance and background. Starting wage twelve dollars an hour, more possible with experience. Periodic pay reviews.
