We're looking to hire a laborer for a local transportation/logistics company. Some experience is required. It's Monday through Friday with a couple of Saturdays per month. You must be open to working any shift. 1st and 2nd shift are available.
Position
The cross dock position is responsible for safe, efficient unloading and loading of parts coming into and leaving the facility. The position also requires doing various tasks including packing, sorting and placement of auto parts. You must be able to lift and carry at least 30 lbs.
Job Functions: Unload inbound shipments safely. Move product to storage locations and efficiently stack and place product in the appropriate area. Stage product in advance of loading to ensure accuracy with quantities and codes, and to optimize the loading schedule.
Requirements:
Able to speak and understand English
Able to safely operate a lift truck and to pass certification
Able to follow directions
Able to lift at least 30 lbs and carry
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $13.00hour
