Trinity Security has an immediate need for FULL-TIMEand/or PART-TIMEunarmed security enforcement officers in the Lafayette, Indiana area. Qualified applicants must be available to work during the week from 8:00pm to 7:00am and/or some weekends. Interviews will be held during normal business hours at our corporate office in Indianapolis. The start date for this position is March 21, 2019.

This security position is in a warehouse facility with a very low threat level. Officers typically patrol a given area, either on foot or in a vehicle, to deter criminal and disruptive activity, check IDs, watch CCTV monitors, etc. Company prefers candidates with open availability and who are able to work nights with some weekend overtime to cover call-offs.

A high school diploma or GED is NOT REQUIRED for employment, however you must be able to read and write clear and concise reports. Security experience is not required, as classroom training and on-the-job training will be provided.

Officers employed by Trinity Security, Inc. receive paid training, uniforms, weekly paychecks, overtime & holiday pay and bonuses/incentives.

Available Shifts:

The available shifts run from 8:00pm to 7:00am during the week with 24 coverage over the weekend. Qualified candidates may be required to work some weekend shifts.

Job Requirements may include but are not limited to:

- Perform duties and tasks outlined in site post orders and standard operating procedures (SOP)

- Patrolling, observing and reporting. Officers may be required to complete incident reports and daily shift activity reports, either hand-written or through the use of an electronic device

- Officer may be required to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time. Officer should be able to climb stairs and navigate uneven surfaces

- Officer may be required at times to lift or carry items between 10 and 25 lbs (however manual labor is typically not required or involved)

Qualified applicants should meet the following prerequisites for employment:

Possess a valid driver's license with decent driving history

Have never been convicted of a felony crime

No misdemeanor convictions in the past three years

Be available to work in the area of Lafayette, Indiana

Be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time

Have a working smartphone to download Trinity apps with a good working knowledge of technology

Be able to speak, read and write English with good grammar, punctuation, etc.

Have excellent customer service skills

Be willing to submit to random drug testing and background check

Previous military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred

Other client specific prerequisites may be required

Sign-on bonus is paid after 180 days of full-time employment (35 hours or more a week). Bonus will not be paid if the employee fails to report to work for any unexcused reason, does not work an average of 35 hours per week, is the subject of any disciplinary action, receives any derogatory or adverse reports from client management, quits his/her employment prior to 180 days or is no longer able to work the shift or job for which employment was initially offered, is fired or otherwise terminated for a justifiable reason.
