Horizon Realty Advisors is looking for a full-time Leasing Manager for The Cottages On Lindberg located in Lafayette, IN. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a fun and exciting property management company who cares about their employees and residents.
At the direction of the Property Manager, the Leasing Manager will oversee all activities related to leasing and occupancy. The Leasing Managers primary responsibilities are to meet or exceed budgeted occupancy, supervise the Leasing Agents and maintain excellent resident relations through superior customer service. The Leasing Manager is also responsible for complying with all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain positive resident relations through superior service
Develop the marketing plan with the Property Manager and Corporate Team
Phone and in person sales to prospective residents and renewals
In conjunction with the leasing team, develop, plan, & execute all leasing events, activities & resident retention events
Shop competitors properties
Compile and submit weekly occupancy report, market survey, and lease process report
Conduct phone and in person sales to current and potential residents
Lead tours, process and close leases, maintain accurate lease files
Train, develop and evaluate leasing team members
Audit and post to social media platforms
Create an omnipresence for leasing throughout the office/clubhouse
QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma required
At least 1 year experience in the apartment, leasing, or hospitality industry preferred.
Knowledge of online Social Media and social presence avenues
Proven experience in marketing, leasing, and sales
Strong organizational and administrative abilities
Must have excellent communication and people skills
A passion to serve residents, parents, vendors, and colleagues
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position often required an employee to stand; walk; climb stairs; sit; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
