We are looking for full stack developers with Node and Vue experience to join our team on a project basis. This is a contract position with an opportunity for steady work. Required skills
- Experience with full stack development using Node and Express
- Knowledge and proficiency building apps with Vue
- Diligent in using best practices with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Nice to have skills/experience
- Experience using Vuex for state management
- Experience using Nuxt for Vue SSR
- Experience using Mongoose, MongoDB object modeling for Node
- Experience with Sass or Less
- Experience with either Gulp, Grunt, Webpack or equivalent
- Experience building hybrid mobile apps with Cordova
- Experience using a template engine such as Nunjucks or Handlebars
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Any skill with graphic design or photo/video editing

KNOWARE is owned and operated by two IRL friends who enjoy D&D, bouldering, fitness, good food, craft beer and writing amazing code. We have a strong commitment to UI/UX and accessibility. Creative problem solving, beautiful markup, collaboration, client relations, and truthfulness will always mean more to us than your textbook knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and architecture. We are based in West Lafayette, Indiana out of the Purdue Research Park but enjoy spending most of our time remote.
