Ruan is currently looking for an experienced diesel technician/mechanic to serve one of our dedicated contract customers in your area. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain company equipment.

About the Position
$18-25/hour based on experience
Earn up to $55,000 annually
Provide service and maintenance on tractors and trailers
Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections
Complete work orders
Diagnose mechanical problems using charts, technical manuals, diagnostic equipment, and experience
Complete state and federal inspections
Wash equipment as needed
Drive service vehicle to pick up parts from outside vendors and respond to road calls
Test drive vehicles as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Certification from a diesel mechanic trade school preferred (or equivalent experience)
Transmission, overhaul, engine, and diagnostic experience required
Must pass Ruan certification tests
Current CDL-A preferred
Candidate must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
