Description:
6 months to hire.

Responsibilities:
  • Management and implementation of medium/large technical projects using Agile Scrum, Waterfall, or Iterative methodologies
  • Track multiple medium/large scale projects simultaneously while anticipating and communicating potential issues and changes
  • Collaborate with QA Team, Development Team, and other technical teams through all phases of the SDLC to track status of technical projects
  • Oversee all project groups to retain focus on project timeline, objectives, and delivery
  • Non-SDLC general project management, including support for M&A projects
  • Coordinate projects with other project managers
  • Support established project management tools and processes
  • Contribute to development and enhancement of project management roadmap
  • Facilitate change management board meetings (IT focus team)
  • Maintain overall major project calendar for department, including upgrades and new application starts
  • Coordinate vendor activity
  • Other duties as required

Skills & Experience:
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Degree requirement may be waived based on demonstrated capability through equal previous experience and education to perform job responsibilities.
  • At least 1 year of experience implementing projects in an Agile, Waterfall, or Iterative methodology with an excellent understanding of each
  • Experience with Agile tools including Confluence and JIRA
  • In depth knowledge of Scrum approach and techniques, including Sprint reviews, Sprint Planning, Burn down charts, Retrospective formats, and handling bugs
  • Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience leading and implementing other project life cycles (Requirements, Development, Testing, Production)
  • Proficient with project management tools, including Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience coordinating Development, Graphic Design, Engineering, Documentation, and QA (testing) teams
  • Experience managing external vendors in both an embedded and offshore model
  • Proven understanding of web site design and technology concepts
  • Experience developing flowcharts using Visio or Lucid Charts
  • Experience with Functional and Technical requirements gathering
  • Experience developing project plan timelines and roadmaps
