Important position within our packaging operation. Vegetable oil is deliveredÂto PDM by Railcar and Tanker Trucks. The product is then moved by using pumps into our building and placed in storage tanks to be packaged. This position facilitates the movement of the product through a set of piping throughout the building. This a fast paced job which requires attention to detail. Have two immediate openings.
Responsibilities:
Route bulk oil to specific storage tanks
Move product to multiple packaging linesÂwithin the building
Operate pumps and valves to move product
Read scale tickets
Verify seals and other documentation on tanker trucks
Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
Good basic math skills
Compensation:
$14-$15 per hour based on experience
