What will you be doing?
The Cost Accountant is responsible for analyzing cost trends and making recommendations to the management team
As the Cost Accountant, you will help facilitate the financial decision making process
An important aspect of the Cost Accountants job is to implement job costing methods
The Cost Accountant will work collaboratively with all team members to make accurate and timely costing decisions
What do you need for this position?
The Cost Accountant should have at least 2+ years experience in an Accounting role in a manufacturing environment
The Cost Accountant will have a proven record of getting answers at the shop floor level
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
Strong computer skills including Word and Excel
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
