Collins Aerospace has the capabilities, comprehensive portfolio, and expertise to solve customers’ toughest challenges and to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global market.Primary Responsibilities: Perform analysis at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Consider and evaluate alternatives accounting for similar metrics.

Manage configuration process, perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.

Perform architectural exploration.

Decompose customer specifications that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.

Decompose customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-systems and piece part requirements and generate verification criteria and plan for the requirements.

Conduct technical planning, system integration, verification and validation and evaluate alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and other analyses.

Collect data and perform standard analysis of data, identifying findings as appropriate.

Conduct engineering processes using standard work, including verification and qualification procedures.

Seek to identify possible problems presented in applicable projects that may cause a delay or exceed budget.

Contribute to finding appropriate solutions.

Apply scientific principles to innovate, design, develop and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions.

Ensure novel ideas and implementations are captured and protected using applicable IP processes and tools.

Required Qualifications:

At least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Avionics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
