PMX Industries is the leading supplier of high quality copper and copper alloys in North America.Overhead Crane Repair Specialist
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of building hoists/cranes and performs scheduled maintenance.
Performs mechanical, electrical and troubleshooting repairs.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and prints to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventative/predictive maintenance on hoist/crane equipment.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to appropriate supervisor.
Comply with OSHA regulations and Company safety standards.
Maintain documentation required by OSHA regarding periodic and frequent inspections and enter work orders in Maximo.
Maintain inventory of parts.
Inspect hoists per OSHA guidelines. Document and provide to the Maintenance Manager periodic reports and inventories.
Coordinate additional service and repairs as needed with an outside contractor.
Be able to source repair parts and pick them up if required.
Valid driver's license to drive company vehicles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two year technical degree or accredited Apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field.
Crane inspection Certification.
Three years crane related experience.
Three years Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
This is a weekday shift 7am-3pm.Benefits include:
