Consider this Senior Financial Analyst consultant role if you want to be our client'Microsoft primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. Candidates who can perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments will be preferred for this Senior Financial Analyst consultant role. Cedar Rapids, Iowa will be the home base of this Senior Financial Analyst.Major responsibilitiesCoordinate with Operations and Accounting to discreetly and accurately track financial results in order to drive improved management reporting

Drive existing management reporting - analyze financial results, distill and synthesize issues, communicate key messages to senior management

Cultivate positive relationships with key business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership

Provide assistance in ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests

Grow business performance by identifying and executing financial analysis

Develop repeatable business, operational and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams

Evaluate financial results, summarize key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate critical updates all in the course of preparing monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership

Collaborate with Functional leads to execute management reporting, accounting and compliance advisement, and coordinate alignment of operational initiatives Requirements - Skilled in working cross functionally across teams and gaining favor of key decision makers

Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

Able to think critically and operate effectively with management

Trade Settlement experience

Prior experience with process reengineering and optimization

Experience with higher level functionality in Microsoft Excel

Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

Highly skilled with Microsoft PowerPoint

Finance or Business BA/BS degree or one in a related field required

CPA/MBA preferred

Familiarity in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
