Learn more at www.adm.com .Lab Manager – Clinton IA Corn PlantThis is an exempt level position.You will lead daily operations of a Quality Control laboratory in a large scale corn and oilseeds processing plant. Responsible for monitoring and assuring the quality of processes and corn derived products, consistent with defined requirements. Work closely with production teams and technical resources in achievement of both short term and long term performance. Emphasize and require safe operation of the lab as well as compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. You will establish and maintain analytical policies, procedures and practices for Q.C. colleagues who operate the lab 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.Responsibilities include personnel management, laboratory equipment oversight, plant technical support, accurate process and product testing, documentation, maintenance and review of quality records, tracking of information and issue resolution. Collaboratively partner with other company locations and divisions, as necessary.KnowledgeBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or related discipline. Ability to effectively use computers and various software applications. Intricate knowledge of analytical equipment, methods and practices. Demonstrated focus on safety fundamentals. Problem solving skills in analytical Chemistry and Microbiology. Ability to select, develop, and achieve objectives through colleagues.Requirements
