of tax.Your keyresponsibilitiesYou
will spend a large portion of your time directly engaged incomplexcompliance
projects for our clients. This will be balanced with research, planning, and meetings
with senior colleagues. EY focuses on a variety of industries, including but
not limited to: automotive and transportation, consumer products, health and
life sciences, media and entertainment, mining and metals, oil and gas, power
and utilities, and technology.
Additionally, we have differentially invested in an industry structure
that focuses on financial services through our Financial Services Organization (FSO).
Candidates electing to join the FSO will focus exclusively in financial
services and will have opportunities to serve leading investment banks, retail
and commercial banks, insurers and investment managers. Whichever you choose,

responsibilities while discovering and developing your strengths and ambitions.How will I spend mostof my time?Below
are some examples of the meaningful work you will do in Tax from the moment you
join us, with support and guidance from mentors and more senior team members:
Handling and supportinga wide variety of tax compliance processes
Assisting with tax duediligence on behalf of a private equity firm
Preparing tax returnsfor large, international clients
Working with auditteams to determine whether tax accounts are appropriate for financialstatements
Researching tax codeand writing memos for clients
Improving the taxeffectiveness of supply chain structures
Developing andutilizing a diverse network of colleagues across the business
To qualify for the roleyou must have
A predictedundergraduate degree in Accounting; graduate degree in Accounting or Taxationpreferred; both supported by a strong academic record
A demonstrable plan forpassing the CPA exam
Excellent Englishlanguage communication skills
Expertise in timemanagement, and the ability to adapt to change under pressure
Strong analytical andproblem solving skills, and the confidence to translate complex informationinto insightful, actionable recommendations
A highly collaborativeapproach to work, and the personal integrity to support not only your team’sinterests, but colleagues across a global business
Flexibility andwillingness to travel as well as work in excess of standard hours whennecessary
A driver’s license validin the U.S.

To qualify for the LawPath you must have
Apre predicted undergraduate degree in accounting and JD, or a JD and LLM in Taxation
Membership oranticipated membership in a U.S. state bar or CPA
Ideally, you’ll alsohave
Experience as an internin any area of tax
Proven leadershipskills
Experience workingalongside colleagues at all levels of a business
For the Law Path,experience within a tax law clinic or tax law journal preferred
