The Candidate will perform Desktop and Help Desk support for the Client. This position will provide support of the Amanda permit and license application. This is an on-site position.
This position is needed to provide tier-one help desk support with technical issues via phone, email and ticketing system. They will provide network support for all users; which will include but is not limited to, setting up new desktops/laptops; design, configure and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software; update Inventory of electronic equipment as required; use sound judgment to escalate service requests and incidents when required.
Approximately 25% of the department work offsite, Candidate must be proficient in working over the phone with users. The Department uses Google G-Suite, along with many of the Adobe products, a Candidate with knowledge in both areas would be an asset.
I need a sharp and teachable person with:
• Experience with Active Directory and Windows Security
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 2007, 2016, Google G Suite, and Adobe products
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems including Windows 7 and 10 along with Chrome OS
• VM Ware
• Excellent customer service & communication skills including good phone experience with offsite users
