Responsibilities:
Wanted: Food Service workers to prepare, assemble, deliver and serve meals to patients, families, and guests. These top quality associates with exceptional team initiative will work with nursing staff, patient room service operators, dietary staff, supervisors and managers to provide the best service for our patients every time. Individuals must be highly self-directed hospitality focused with excellent communication skills in a time sensitive, fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities of these "high touch" positions include assisting, providing and ensuring great food service to patients and guests according to specified guidelines; stocking and cleaning unit pantries and equipment; performing specified cash handling duties; and promoting quality and care in all aspects of daily performance. Consistently utilizes a holistic approach considering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to age of the patients served in the assigned area.
Other information:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in customer service skills preferred but not required. Gold level National Career Readiness Certification preferred. Must be able to remember key functions of this position competent in and perform them when scheduled. Ability to communicate with several areas, managers and various co-workers.
