Smokey D's is highly respected as Iowa's best fast-casual local BBQ concept. We are constantly looking for highly motivated, qualified individuals to join our team as we continue to serve our guests with outstanding authentic Kansas City style BBQ.
We are looking for dynamic individuals wanting to work for a locally owned, established restaurant with a proven track record. We are in search of applicants with prior meat room experience but willing to train the right person. Candidates should have knowledge of kitchen equipment including knives, meat slicers, buffalo chopper and various other kitchen equipment. Requirements also includes processing meat, loading/unloading smokers, cleaning and maintaining smokers, multi-tasking, some heavy lifting and close attention to detail. Hours are late mornings through early evenings including weekends. Candidate must have a professional attitude, take pride in their work and have reliable transportation.
