Small, quality and relationship-based dental practice located in downtown Des Moines is seeking a confident, professional, friendly dental assistant who takes initiative! We are located on the skywalk in the center of Des Moines.
Experience is required, preferably more than one year of chairside experience in a general dental practice. Applicants must have current Iowa registration and radiography certification and provide references. Sorry, no trainees.
Successful applicants will be motivated to learn new things, be comfortable with technology, and be a team player, and value our patient centered attitude. Previous experience with Dentrix software and DEXIS would be an advantage!
Full time position, 4 days per week, no evenings or weekends. Typical work hours would range from 34-36 hrs. per week on Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm. An occasional Friday may be required based on patient scheduling but probably no more than three or four Fridays per year.
Competitive hourly wage will be based on experience and potential value to practice. Parking in convenient downtown ramp is paid for by employer.
Position is available now but we can offer flexibility in the start date if needed.
