Quanex Building Products Production Operator FULL-TIME $13.50/hr 4325 NE 50th St., Des Moines, IA 50317 A physically demanding position, responsible for working with team members to install screen mesh into window frames and properly sequencing orders. Responsibilities Properly securing window frames to the rolling tables and applying screens appropriately. Visually inspect for defects throughout the process. Chooses appropriate cloth types according to the specification tag. Verify proper size, color, customer, and configuration (hardware) of each screen. Ensure standard work adherence. Using hand rolling, sharp knife, and pneumatic tools to secure cloth and accessories to frame. Sequencing into shipping cart or pallet. Ability to manipulate small screen components by hand. Ability to use hand tools including tape measure and air drill. Must be able to meet standardized production goals. Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
