AARP Foundation Senior Community Service Program (SCSEP) provides both community service and paid work-based training. Job seekers are placed in a variety of non-profit and public agencies to gain on-the-job training that can be used as a bridge to full or part-time employment opportunities outside of the program.
Program Requirements:
Must be 55 or older
Must reside in Polk County
Must meet federal poverty guidelines (and provide proof of income)
Must be willing to seek permanent full or part-time employment
Must be unemployed
